How often should I have my chimney swept?
For regular use, we recommend sweeping a wood-burning or multi-fuel appliance at least once a year, and busy open fires twice a year. Smokeless fuels and gas appliances are typically once a year.
Do you provide a certificate after sweeping?
Yes. Every sweep is completed with a Certificate of Sweeping, which helps support your appliance warranty and home insurance requirements.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover Southwell, Newark, Mansfield, Nottingham and the surrounding Nottinghamshire villages. If you are unsure whether we reach you, just ask.
Are you insured and registered?
Yes. Minster Chimney Sweeps is fully insured and a registered member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS).
